All Nations is a mission training college seeking to train and equip men and women for Christian ministry in all parts of the world.

All Nations seeks to recruit someone to carry out administrative tasks related to the Masters programme. Tasks include all aspects of the admissions process, administering of student work and marks, using the college virtual learning environment (VLE), supporting academic meetings/committees/boards and taking responsibility for relations with validating bodies.

All Nations - Vacancy - Head Chef / Catering Manager

Eating together is at the heart of the Christian community at All Nations Christian College. We wish to recruit a competent person to manage all aspects of the catering at College and to prepare and present food to a high standard, including: the provision of all meals (breakfast, lunch and evening meal, and tea/coffee breaks etc) for students, conference guests, staff and others and to ensure high standards of food quality, service and hygiene are maintained at all times.

Qualifications / education required

- Needs NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Needs minimum basic food hygiene (although intermediate is preferable)

Job requirements
To be able to
- manage staff (plus students, volunteers and vacation workers)
- be organised and work well independently as well as with others
- interact well with students and staff
- have the ability to cook to a high standard both in flavour and presentation
- produce innovative and creative menus whilst adhering to the college strict budgets - prepare meals for staff, students and conference delegates
- have some knowledge of Microsoft excel and word
- have experience in stock taking
- have knowledge in kitchen Health and Safety, COSHH and Risk Assessments
- maintain high levels of health and hygiene and maintain the appropriate records

Shifts
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work - 40 hours per week

Holiday
- 30 days annual leave
- Overtime is paid for in Lieu

Main duties include HR matters (recruitment, annual leave etc), administration of visas systems and student loans, secretarial support to the Principal and committees, taking minutes at management meetings, acknowledging donations, scheduling College meetings and events, some student welfare matters and some reception cover.
